Meet Niamh

Niamh Clarke is our National Children's Lead, and manages the Smart Moves Programme.
The move from primary to secondary school is an exciting but often challenging time. Our Smart Moves programmes support 5th and 6th class pupils, first year students, and their parents and carers with the knowledge, skills and confidence to make the transition as smooth and positive as possible. The long-term vision for the ISPCC is that all 6th class and 1st year students and parents/carers in Ireland will engage with and benefit from the programme, leading to more successful transitions into secondary school.

What our schools say...

I have been using the Smart Moves programme and resources with my secondary school students to support the Wellbeing programme I deliver in the schools. I absolutely love the resource, the practical interactive exercises and the workbook the students can complete. The students feedback is amazing as they love to have a tangible workbook with their thoughts and opinions on these topics. I highly recommend this programme to assist alongside other Wellbeing and Personal Development work that is delivered to young teenagers.
